About the filling
Buckwheat husk is:
- hard
- cool
- hypoallergenic
The advantage of buckwheat hulls is that it stays cool all the time – it does not heat up, so you also do not sweat and wake up. Buckwheat husk has natural anti-allergic properties and contains compounds that inhibit the growth of bacteria and mites. On a pillow with a buckwheat hull you sleep soundly and deeply.
Spelled husk
- medium soft
- warm
Spelled husk is soft and warm - it regenerates the nervous system and calms down. The heat released from the pillow relaxes muscles and tissues, reducing discomfort and pain. Plantula heated on a radiator or in the sun acts as a hot water bottle and strengthens its therapeutic properties, you can put a warm pillow in places that need attention and relaxation the most. Spelled has natural anti-allergic properties and contains compounds that inhibit the growth of bacteria and mites. On a pillow with a spelled husk you sleep soundly and deeply.
Organic buckwheat and spelled hulls
Both buckwheat and spelled hulls support the head, neck and spine stably. Due to their structure, the scales move freely under the influence of touch and gently massage the body, preventing migraines and dissolving tensions accumulated during the day. You sleep and Plantula works for you!
What is the difference between a vegetable sleeping pillow and ordinary pillows?
Plantula is:
1. Comfortable
This is the first sleeping pillow that you can perfectly match! You can manually adjust its thickness so that it harmonizes with the individual structure of your body. It will be suitable, regardless of whether you like to sleep on your back, side, back or stomach. All you have to do is specify the amount of filling and the pillow will take the right form for you. Plantula will precisely fill the space under the neck to make you feel comfortable in every position.
2. Healthy
The modeled Plantula stabilizes and supports the cervical spine. It doesn't collapse, so you don't strain your neck muscles while sleeping. On the contrary, tense muscles can finally relax and regenerate. The filling of the pillow (plant scales) gently massages the head , improving blood and lymph circulation - this way you prevent migraines. Thanks to the thermoregulatory properties of the scales , you breathe freely and do not sweat during sleep. The specially prepared filling is hypoallergenic - suitable for children and people with allergies
3. Natural
The Plantule pillow is made of natural materials and filled only with certified, ecological husks. Sleeping on Plantula, you can be sure that it does not contain chemicals, sprays or pesticides. Its composition does not contain artificial compounds, it is not filled with polyurethane foams or polyester balls. A simple formula applies here - cotton and ecological buckwheat and spelt hulls. When you put your head to the pillow, it will be wrapped in pure nature.
How to prepare Plantula for sleep?
Step 1 | Get to know your Plantula
Get to know your Plantula and devote a few minutes to it before bedtime. This is an important moment of adjusting the pillow to your body so that it is just like you. Put your head on it and make sure its thickness is right for you. Feel free to touch, knead and move the husk - you will find out how plastic and comfortable it is.
Step 2 | Adjust the thickness of the pillow
The pillow should perfectly match your figure and the position in which you like to sleep. If its thickness is right, great! If not, don't worry, open the pillow, pour a cup (or more) of husk into a paper or cotton bag and check if you are comfortable. Scrape and add the husk until you get the optimum thickness. Even if you spill half of the filling, it will be OK. Save the excess husk for later, it may turn out that after some time you will supplement Plantula with it.
Step 3 | Model the pillow
If you already know what thickness of Plantula is just right for you, it's time for modeling! Before you lie down on the pillow, form a hollow for your head with your hand, and at the bottom, shape a roller that will support your neck and spine. Lie down and make sure you're comfortable. Move the scales with your arms and shape the pillow until you feel the moment of full harmony with your body.
How to care for Plantula?
You can wash the pillowcase according to the instructions on the label after pouring out the filling. Do not clean the scales themselves. If the pillow gets wet, throw out the husks and dry them in a warm and airy place. Frost and sun refresh the Plantula pillow. Because nature tells us the best solutions!
When to replace the shell?
Remember to replace the scales with new ones, full of their health-promoting properties, after a year of use.

Plantule Bed – a conscious decision about the comfort, health and peace of your dog.
We want our dogs to have the best – that's why we created this bed. It's not a gadget or a passing trend. It's the result of years of work in recovery and relaxation – this time carefully designed with dogs in mind.
The filling, made of pure, organic buckwheat hulls, acts as a natural, stable micro-massage: it conforms to the dog's body (without sagging), supports the spine and hips, doesn't overheat in summer, and is 100% natural and hypoallergenic. For older dogs, post-surgery dogs, or those with body issues, it provides relief and a significant improvement in comfort.
Buckwheat relieves pressure on sore areas and stabilizes the body in the chosen position —whether on its side or stomach. This allows your dog to finally truly relax.
The bed is sewn in Poland (in Łódź, by our seamstresses – part of the Plantule team) with meticulous attention to detail. It has a separate cotton inner cushion and a removable cover made of durable, moisture-resistant, certified material. It won't stretch out after a week or lose its shape after washing. This bed will stay with you for a long time.
And that embroidery? Almost invisible to the dog, but meaningful to you. Because every care deserves its mark.
For this price, your dog gets the daily support of an orthopedic mattress. And you get the peace of mind of knowing they're truly resting. Because when it comes to sleep comfort and health, compromises aren't worth it.
For even more comfort? Add a pillow!
Just like humans, dogs appreciate a place where they can truly rest their heads. That's why we created a special pillow—filled with the same natural buckwheat hulls as the bed.
You can wrap it around the bed, and your dog will use it as support for their head, neck, or paws. For those who deserve deluxe comfort – every day, not just for special occasions.

🐾 If your dog could talk...
I like it when nothing sinks beneath me. When my body truly rests. I don't know what buckwheat husks are, but my back loves them. A lot. It's cool, comfortable, and somehow... safe here. I don't have to find a new place. I have my own.
It works – and much better than popular foam or silicone ball fillings.
Buckwheat hulls are a natural material that responds to body weight: they don't collapse or spring back, but instead conform and stabilize , providing support where needed. They act like a micro-massage, supporting muscles and soothing the nervous system.
Unlike foams and PET cotton:
- does not deform over time,
- does not accumulate heat (i.e. the dog does not overheat in summer),
- does not collect moisture or odors,
- does not clump into lumps that create unevenness.
It's a comfort you can feel, even if your dog can't name it.
Buckwheat husk is:
✓ stable
✓ cool to the touch
✓ naturally hypoallergenic
This is our plant-based specialist for healthy sleep and comfort . Thanks to its shape, the husk ensures excellent air circulation – it doesn't heat up under the dog's body and maintains a pleasantly low temperature , preventing overheating during naps.
It's also stable and flexible – it conforms to the dog's body without sagging. This provides support for the spine and joints, which is especially important for older dogs or those who need extra care during their daily rest.
The gently rustling structure of the husks does not bother most dogs – on the contrary, it often has a soothing and calming effect.
Importantly, buckwheat is a natural material that does not cause allergies and does not promote the development of dust mites .
Thanks to its natural tannin content, it has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It's a great choice for sensitive dogs, those with allergies, skin problems, or a tendency to watery eyes.
At Plantule, we believe that every dog deserves a place that truly supports their body—and their daily relaxation rituals. That's why we've prepared three carefully thought-out sizes to suit different dog needs, body shapes, and habits.
SMALL | S: 75 × 55 × 6 cm
For dogs that snuggle into every corner.
This size is perfect for small breeds who like to have everything under their paws – cozy, close, and soft. It's also perfect for smaller spaces (read: your favorite nook in the living room).
Fits, among others:
- Chihuahua
- Maltese
- Shih Tzu
- York
- Pomeranian
- Pug
- Jack Russell Terrier
MEDIUM | M: 100 × 70 × 6 cm
For those who sleep in a half moon and stretch sometimes.
This is the most universal size – convenient for medium-sized dogs and those who like space but don't need a huge one. It also works well in homes where the dog has his own space but is occasionally invited to spend some time on the couch.
Fits, among others:
* Beagle
* French Bulldog
* Cocker Spaniel
* Whippet
* Border Collie
* Shetland Sheepdog
* Standard Schnauzer
LARGE | L: 115 × 75 × 6 cm
This size is designed for larger breeds – those who need space, stable support, and a place to truly stretch out. It's also recommended for senior dogs – more space means more relief for their bodies.
Fits, among others:
- Labrador
- Golden Retriever
- German Shepherd
- Husky
- Dalmatian
- Rottweiler
- Doberman
Plantule Tip:
If your dog sleeps in various positions—curled up, then suddenly stretched out like a string—choose a size with a bit of extra space. It's better to have more space for comfortable stretching than too little.
The outer cover is made of waterproof material, protecting the interior from moisture and dirt. For daily use, simply wipe it with a damp cloth – no washing required.
When it's time for a more intense refresh, the zippered cover can be easily removed and washed at up to 30°C. Do not wash the buckwheat hulls – if necessary, remove the inner hull filling and air it out completely, or dry it in a warm, well-ventilated place.
Over time, the shell may become slightly compacted – this is a natural process. Therefore, the set includes an additional portion of filling, which will allow you to easily restore the bed to its original shape and comfort.
The outer cover is made of a durable, waterproof, melange-weave fabric that resembles natural linen. It's stain- and abrasion-resistant , and its texture effectively conceals fur , ensuring the bed remains aesthetically pleasing for years to come, despite daily use.
We used special, certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 material , made of 100% polyester, for its production. This is a conscious choice – ensuring functionality, durability, and ease of care. Thanks to its high water resistance, the bed's interior and its natural filling are well protected.
The inner lining is 100% cotton.
Filling – ecological, certified buckwheat husk: pure, plant-based and fully natural.
Why does the bed weigh more than classic models?
Size:
L: 16 kg
M: 13 kg
S: 8 kg
This is thanks to the use of a natural, plant-based filling made of buckwheat husks, which provides stability, fit, and real support for the dog's body. This "weight" prevents the bed from shifting or sagging, and is truly therapeutic.
Due to its size and weight, the bed can only be shipped by courier.
This is the best way to ensure it reaches you quickly and safely – ready for its first nap.

Od kilku miesięcy razem z moim corgim posiadamy to legowisko. Na początku nie było to jego ulubione miejsce do odpoczynku (ale też go nie unikał - po prostu wolał podłogę). Ogólnie jest on dość sceptyczny do wielu rzeczy.
