How does the Plantule weighted blanket work?
A weighted blanket helps "mechanically", through pressure, reduce stress, regenerate the nervous system and quickly induce deep sleep.
Covering ourselves with a blanket feels like being hugged tightly. The therapeutic weight is distributed evenly across all covered areas of the body, and the deep, sustained touch provides powerful sensory information to the nervous system , which the body responds to by relaxing and reducing anxiety.
While resting under a sensory duvet, our body, working in conjunction with a calmed nervous system, triggers self-regulatory processes. In this way, the duvet helps lower cortisol (the stress hormone) and increase serotonin (the happiness hormone) and melatonin (the sleep hormone) . Heart rate and blood pressure stabilize. Stress subsides, the body calms down, and deep sleep occurs. Upon waking, we feel deeply relaxed.
The regeneration process occurs just beneath the sensitive skin—in muscles, tendons, and joints, where proprioceptive receptors are located. The blanket gently massages the receptors and regulates the function of this system, which is responsible for our sense of orientation, body position, and is responsible for our deep sensation and mental comfort. With every moment spent under the blanket , muscle tone and muscle coordination normalize , which is important in cases of various sensory integration disorders and the perception of external stimuli.
Who is the sensory quilt for?
The sensory blanket is helpful for children and adults struggling with:
- psychomotor disorders: ADHD, Asperger's syndrome, Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy
- problems with falling asleep
- hyperactivity
- lack of concentration
- post-traumatic stress disorder
- anxiety states and neurosis
- depression
Weighted blankets have been used to treat disorders such as ADHD, Asperger's syndrome, Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, aggressive behavior, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, neurosis, depression, and insomnia. Highly sensitive individuals (HSPs) who are overwhelmed by excessive stimuli, stressed, and want a good night's sleep can also find a safe haven under them.
Why linen?
The Plantule duvet is made of four layers of 100% washed, softened, and skin-friendly linen. The fabric, made from linen yarn, is one of the most durable and highly valued materials—it refines over time, becoming softer and more pleasant to the touch. Our skin loves linen! Linen protects and nourishes the skin like a cosmetic tailored to the body's needs. As one of the most hypoallergenic and antibacterial materials, it creates a healthy microclimate around the skin, protecting it from the growth of bacteria and viruses. Linen will never cause allergies, irritation, or heat rash. On the contrary, thanks to its bacteriostatic properties, it sterilizes the skin, becoming a natural dressing.
Covered in linen (especially on hot summer nights), we never sweat. Linen boasts the highest absorbency of all natural fibers—it can absorb up to 25% of water while remaining dry to the touch. Carbon dioxide removed from the body, thanks to the breathability of linen, is replaced by fresh air at an optimal temperature for the skin, for a more pleasant sleep.
Wrapped in linen, we can also feel safer in contact with the sun; UV rays are absorbed by the fabric before they reach the skin. We know that linen wrinkles beautifully, but it never picks up static electricity and is excellent at reducing electrical charges in the body.
Glass beads or cherry pits?
We value linen for all its body-pleasing properties, but also for its ecological values – biodegradability and environmentally friendly composition.
The Plantule sensory quilt is weighted with 100% natural filling—choose from small glass beads or organic cherry pits. Both fillings are completely securely and tightly sealed for years to come between layers of quilted linen.

Personalized duvet – how to choose it?
A duvet should be approximately 10%-15% of your body weight. When ordering a duvet for yourself or your child, keep this in mind. Additionally, it should be approximately 10 cm longer than your body to cover the entire body. Because duvets are hand-sewn and prepared according to weight and dimensions, the waiting time for a duvet can be up to 21 days.
Can the duvet be washed?
You can wash the Plantule sensory quilt at up to 40°C. After washing, tumble dry on a low setting or hang to dry flat in a well-ventilated place. Linen is known for aging beautifully. — softens with each wash. Your linen duvet has undergone an additional softening process to become even more gentle on your skin.

Only good dreams under Plantula!
A sleeping pillow with a plant filling is used for the following ailments:
Sleep disorders – helps you adopt a comfortable position and maintain it stable, provides solid support and makes falling asleep easier.
Spine, neck and nape pain – stabilizes and supports the cervical spine and head, relieves muscle tension in the neck and nape, helps effortlessly maintain the correct position of the spine during sleep, allows it to relax and regenerate, and eliminates pain.
Migraines and tension headaches – the filling scales gently massage the skin and head, improving blood and lymph circulation, which removes tension and reduces pain.
Numbness in the hands – relaxing muscle tension and maintaining the correct spine position during sleep improves the functioning of the nerves, which are not compressed, can regenerate and conduct impulses more efficiently, and circulation improves.
Asthma and allergies – the pillow does not collapse, supports the head firmly, allows you to adopt a position that facilitates breathing, does not block the flow of air to the nose and mouth, prevents overheating, and is hypoallergenic.
Stress and tension – it provides rest in a comfortable position, allows muscles tensed by stress to relax, gives a sense of solid support, reducing the general feeling of uncertainty and threat.
Depression – A good night's sleep on a supportive pillow reduces the overall feeling of sinking and instability, which has a positive impact on mental well-being. The pillow isn't too soft or sagging, providing stable support, increasing a sense of security, and can alleviate symptoms of depression in both children and adults.
Step 1 | Get to know your Plantula
Get to know your Plantula and spend a few minutes with it before bed. This is an important step in adapting the pillow to your body, so it's just like you. Rest your head on it and make sure it's the right thickness for you. Feel free to touch, knead, and move the husk – you'll discover how pliable and comfortable it is.
Step 2 | Adjust the thickness of the pillow
A pillow should perfectly complement your body shape and your preferred sleeping position. If it's thick enough, great! If not, feel free to open the pillow, pour a cup (or more) of husk into a paper or cotton bag, and see if it's comfortable. Continue pouring husk out and adding it until you achieve the optimal thickness. Even pouring out half the filling will be fine. Save the excess husk for later; you may find you can refill your Plantula with it later.
Step 3 | Shape the pillow
Once you know the perfect Plantula thickness for you, it's time to shape it! Before lying down on the pillow, use your hands to form a depression for your head, and create a bolster at the bottom that will support your neck and spine. Sit down and see if you're comfortable. Move the scales with your arms and shape the pillow until you feel a moment of complete harmony with your body.
Doceni go także skóra wrażliwa.
Oddycha razem z Tobą. To jedno z najbardziej przewiewnych włókien naturalnych.
Len należy do najtrwalszych tkanin świata. Nie mechaci się, nie traci formy i nie elektryzuje. Zamiast się zużywać, szlachetnieje: z każdym praniem mięknie i nabiera tej charakterystycznej, aksamitnej miękkości, za którą się go kocha.
Codzienny luksus. Len to tkanina hoteli butikowych i najlepszych pościeli.
It's true, buckwheat rustles slightly, but our brains quickly adapt. And if you prefer silence, there's the golden millet side, which is velvety silent.
Buckwheat hulls are the best solution for those with neck pain and migraines – they stabilize and gently massage. And if you prefer a softer feel, simply flip the pillow! The golden millet side is cozy and incredibly comfortable.
Yes – and it's better than traditional pillows! The buckwheat hull and golden millet filling doesn't sag, spring, or lose its shape. Instead of a pillow that forces you to unconsciously strain your neck all night long, you get natural support that promotes your health.
