WHAT IS KAPHA?
FEATURES - STABILITY, STABILITY, HEAVY, MOISTURE, COLD
Kapha people are naturally very cheerful and patient. These features are provided by their predominant earth element. They are warm but possessive and tend to be skimpy. They often show too strong a desire to possess and become attached to material things. They do not like to change their minds and very rarely do so. However, if they change their worldview, they will do so almost forever. People with this constitution have a large and stocky build. This does not mean that Kaphas cannot be slim. If they are in balance, their body is beautiful and strong, and their skin is radiant without birthmarks or freckles. They have a high tendency to be overweight, so they should eat lightly and regularly, and they don't like that. Kaphas are prone to diseases caused by excess water - tumors, cysts, as well as congestion and, above all, obesity. Relatively often they suffer from respiratory diseases caused by excess moisture (runny nose, pneumonia, catarrh of the upper and lower respiratory tract). They often experience depressed mood. Kapha balances intense movement with lightness and dryness. They should, above all, exercise, eat more spicy food and stay in the sun.
WHAT DOES MAGIC?
Ginger, which is an extremely valued plant in Ayurveda, has a spicy taste, so it is ideal for KAPHA. In its case, it has a drying effect and stimulates the slow digestion of KAPHA. In addition, it has an expectorant effect, which in the case of KAPHA is of great importance due to the natural tendency to form mucus.
In the case of KAPHA dosha, licorice root has an expectorant effect and eliminates excess moisture from the upper respiratory tract, i.e. from the places of the natural seat of KAPHA dosha. Thanks to this, it eliminates the heaviness of people of this constitutional type.
The bitter-sharp taste of LEMONGRASS is a combination that regulates the level of KAPHA in the body and mind. On the one hand, it has a stimulating effect, i.e. KAPHA, which is falling into stagnation, will slightly stimulate, and on the other hand, it will reduce the feeling of tension and relieve the symptoms of depression.
Anise is a great proposition for people whose digestion is slow and irregular. KAPHA will also benefit from its use if you want to remove excess moisture from the body, as well as in the case of colds and digestive system ailments.
CINNAMON has a spicy-sweet taste and a warming effect, so it is an ideal plant that regulates the level of KAPHA. It has a harmonizing effect on the circulatory system and is an effective expectorant and diaphoretic agent. It stimulates the digestive fire (AGNI) and reduces blood sugar levels.
Coriander has a stimulating effect on the KAPHA dosha and stimulates it to action. It is three-dosha, which means that it can be used by all constitutions and will affect each of them differently. In the case of people of the KAPHA type, it is additionally characterized by a diaphoretic effect and regulating digestion.
The addition of LEMON OIL is not accidental. Its stimulating effect will perfectly "move" KAPHA from its place and stimulate it to action. Additionally, it will support the fat burning process.
VERBENA is known for its positive effect on the respiratory system. It has an expectorant and protective effect on the respiratory tract. It will be great in states of depressed mood in people with a KAPHA constitution.
BLACK PEPPER is one of the best plants for the KAPHA dosha, because its sharp taste has a strong stimulating and reducing effect. Heavy and naturally moist, KAPHA needs exercise, and black pepper improves blood and lymph circulation and stimulates digestion.
CARDAMON, an aromatic plant that improves digestion, is an ideal proposition for KAPHA, also due to the effect of reducing excess moisture, which KAPHA has a natural tendency to accumulate. It soothes the symptoms of allergies and seasonal colds.
