How Does the Plantule Weighted Blanket Work? The Importance of a Strong, Healthy Hug
By covering ourselves with a blanket, the body receives a signal, which then transmits to the nervous system that it's time to switch to relaxation mode. Through this mechanical process, the blanket induces a state of relaxation and regeneration throughout the body. Consequently, it allows us to fall asleep faster and feel better upon waking.

A duvet should make up approximately 10-15% of your body weight. Keep this in mind when ordering a duvet for yourself or your child. Additionally, it should be approximately 10 cm longer than your body to cover the entire body.
We recommend the following weight options:
- 5 kg - for a person weighing: 40-60 kg
- 6.5 kg - for a person weighing: 55-75 kg
- 8 kg - for a person weighing: 70-90 kg
- 10 kg - for a person weighing 100-120 kg
Can the duvet be washed?
You can wash the Plantule sensory quilt at up to 40°C, and after washing, dry it in a dryer at a low temperature or hang it flat and dry it in a well-ventilated place until completely dry.
