Why is migraine prevention important?

In Poland, approximately 3.5 million people suffer from migraines, and in the European Union, as many as 11% of the population (National Health Fund, epidemiological data). Migraine is a neurological disease – not just a simple headache. It is accompanied by photophobia, hypersensitivity to sound, nausea, and fatigue.

That is why it is so important not only to react to an attack, but also to take preventive measures:

✓ Reduction of neck and nape tension – neutral positioning promotes relaxation

✓ Limiting stimuli – darkness and silence support calming down

Is it a tension headache or a migraine?


A headache is usually a temporary discomfort, often related to muscle tension, dehydration, or stress. Migraine is a complex neurological disorder that occurs intermittently, has characteristic symptoms, and requires a unique approach—usually painkillers, but also preventative measures and lifestyle changes.
